Apparently in response to underwhelming demand for the version already available on video, Sony/Columbia is reportedly planning to release on DVD a “Director’s Cut” of this year’s Worst Picture RAZZIE® “Winner” SWEPT AWAY. Said to feature “additional nudity” involving both Madonna and her Worst Screen Couple co-winner Adriano Giannini, as well as scenes left on the cutting room floor in editing for the theatrical release, this RAZZIE® Collector’s Item is also supposed to have a running commentary on a separate audio track from Worst Director “winner” Mr. Madonna (a.k.a. Guy Ritchie). Given that the film’s original theatrical running time was about 100 minutes, we have to wonder…how many different ways ARE there to say: “Mea Culpa”…????
