Looks like some of you were right. Reviews for UNIVERSAL SOLDIER PART WHATEVER and THE COLLECTION are merely average. They're saying the latter is one of the best Torture Porn movies (which of course isn't much). Meanwhile, KILLING THEM SOFTLY has very good reviews.

UPDATE from Head RAZZberry: One of our longest term and most loyal Voting Members has asked me to post about the up-coming Hollywood Reel Independent Film Festival, which will be held starting Monday, Dec. 3 at the New Beverly Cinema in L.A. Among their featured screenings will be a restored print of MANOS: THE HANDS OF FATE (a perennial title on the Bottom 100 List at the IMDb), a series of 1960s films from Tinto Brass, and the world premiere of the latest movie from RAZZIE Whipping Boy (and Worst Career Achievement "winner") Uwe Boll, BAILOUT: THE AGE OF GREED. Here's the LINK for additional info on the HRIF Festival:

Thank you so much for posting those links*, because I found out that MANOS is considered public domain and that it's available online. I'm so busy with my finals, Christmas and the Vits Awards, so I'll probably watch it on January.

*No, I'm not the one who asked him to do it.

Next week, the big release is PLAYING FOR KEEPS, starring Gerard Butler (who was already in a bad movie this year) and directed by Gabriele Muccino (THE PURSUIT OF HAPPINESS; 7 POUNDS). If it turns out to be good, there's also HYDE PARK ON HUDSON, starring Bill Murray as President FDR, and, BARBIE: PRINCESS CHARM SCHOOL, which was already released in DVD over a year ago!

By the way, Peter Travers has chosen the best and the worst movies in 3D (but it seems more like the best and worst uses of 3D).

Gah, look at Sean Penn. He's lost it. Ridiculous!

Just wanted to throw it out there: First reviews on Django Unchained are wildly positive, with praise for one of my favorites, Christoph Waltz. Also, I seriously cannot wait any longer for this and the Hobbit -- I'm physically hurting. December is going to be so good!

What are people saying about Leonardo DiCaprio in Django?
Elizabeth Hartman and Judith Barsi are more talented and beautiful than Scarlett Johansson and Chloe Grace Moretz. Fact.

Worst Supporting Actor: Brendan Fraser/Gimme Shelter and The Nut Job

Praise for DiCaprio, praise for Johnson, more praise for Waltz, even more praise for everything, no details yet though.
I've grown a bit tired of DiCaprio's face, I expected him to be the weakest factor, but reading how the movie supposedly rocks, I don't even give a sh*t about him any more. All I want is to watch that damn movie.

They've also announced the nominees for the AVN Awards (the best in porn). I wasn't going to mention it, until I read that OCTOMOM HOME ALONE is up for 4 awards.

I've heard that the people have actually vomited after seeing THE HOBBIT -- Apparently, its 3-D effects makes audiences dizzy?

I read the whole article, even though my instincts told me to stop, because the article almost starts by saying that NORBIT was "good for some chuckles." ?!?

HeadRAZZBerry: You don't think Nicolas Cage will be the shoo-in based on the fact that he has not won the Worst Actor Razzie yet?

RESPONSE from Head RAZZberry: I'd call Cage a "berry likely" eventual Worst Actor nominee for this year, rather than a "shoo-in." Experience tells me that any actor who's been repeatedly nominated and has yet to "win" may wind up being "the perennial bridesmaid, not the bride." The example that comes instantly to mind is Keanu Reeves, who's racked up a career total of 8 nominated "achievements" without ever actually "winning" even one RAZZIE®...

I heard it's not the 3D effects in HOBBIT,  but rather the 48-frames-per-second projection, that makes people dizzy...

I'm happy to see John Goodman getting some recognition. He was fantastic in Argo.
