mbh, allow me to introduce you to Carly-Rae Jepsen, who's responsible for that annoying song.

You say that now, but after a couple of days, you'll be like this:

So Carly-Rae Jepsen is responsible for my ear ache and a terrible half an hour train ride with that song on repeat.
From her voice and name I imagine her having blond curls with a pink ribbon in her hair and wearing a pink fluffy cashmere sweater. In the video it's probably raining lemondrops and gumdrops and she's dancing around a little prepubescent boy. I might be totally wrong.

I agree with Head RAZZ's point below -- This is what I was getting at in my post above. That Universal had not said that anyone was dropped. And that a sequel may not even happen.

Also, I guess some of the confusion about mbh and myself is probably due to the fact that our usernames seem similar. But I believe mbh is male and I am a female, so we are not even the same gender!

The recent back-and-forth on this Forum regarding whether or not Kristen Stewart would be a part of any SNOW WHITE AND THE HUNTSMAN sequel (if indeed there ever is a HUNTSMAN sequel) elicited nothing but yawns from me -- all that chatter about Universal "firing" Stewart because of her alleged affair with the first film's director strikes me as nothing more than Twi-Hards stirring up rumors, and Universal taking advantage of that phenomenon to generate undeserved publicity. To bolster my point, here's a LINK to read a just-posted item at Entertainment Weakly regarding the matter. It includes a Universal spokesperson saying: "Any reports that Kristen Stewart has been dropped are false."

Close enough.

Over 203 MILLION views?1?1?1? Holy cow, I'm really REALLY out of the loop! I have not heard one song by Taylor Swift or Miley Cyrus. The only song I know from Rhianna is "Umbrella", and only because it's an Elvis cover (and we did a karaoke Playstation game at a friend's bachelor party).
I do know a few songs of Amy Winehouse and Adele. The rest just isn't interesting to me.

MR, they are talking about our usernames. I know exactly what they're talking about, it's happened to me once or twice with Vits and Vheid. It's based on what you catch of the names from the corner of your eye while reading the comments.

So, you only listen to contemporary singers who sing old style pop and soul? I would assume you're old...but you're using a computer.

I wouldn't even be listening to them if their CDs hadn't magically appeared in my house. And I am not really "listening to them," so to speak -- they were brought to my attention, and at least I know who they are/were and do like their style.

I'm actually fluent in basically all songs from Barney the Dinosaur and Blue's Clues. Somehow I don't think that counts, though.

I too hate most modern/pop music. All the buttons on my car radio are pre-tuned to classic rock music stations.

I wasn't going to mention this, but it seems all of you are interested in the subject. The voting for the MTV Video Music Awards is open. Check out the nominees so you can do your old people rants that you clearly enjoy doing.

Trailers for The Last Stand (Starring Schwarzenegger) and Bullet to the Head (Starring Stallone).

Elizabeth Hartman and Judith Barsi are much more talented and beautiful than Scarlett Johansson and Chloe Grace Moretz. Fact.

Those two trailers got the best response from the crowd at The Expendables 2.

Stop hating on pop stars! Adele is the best, Lady Gaga is amazing, Katy Perry is great! Oh, and the "Call Me Maybe" music video is just plain fun, especially that twist ending.

Just out of curiosity, what other trailers appeared in front of Expendables 2?

The Dredd, Resident Evil 5, and The Man With The Iron Fists trailers got good responses and Jack Reacher wasn't met well, probably because of Tom Cruise. They, also, showed trailers for Franeknweenie, The Possession, and End Of Watch.
