When you know a film is going to be awful, just do what I do... Get hammered beforehand. That's why I see crappy movies at the theater with a bar. Heck, there's one theater down the highway, that will actually deliver the drinks to my seat, during the movie... I am tempted to try an in-theater drinking game next time a Uwe Boll film comes out... Every time the movie kills a part of my soul, hit the button, order a shot. If I am not dead of alcohol poisoning before the end of the opening credits, then it is Uwe Boll's best film ever!

I swear, everytime a new chick flick comes out, that that will be the worst movie of all time. Ghosts of Girlfriends Past really might be, though. What... a stupid... idea.

By the way, the way I'm hearing Wolvie described, it sounds like MWG will like it, and none of the rest of us will. I'm just hoping that when I force myself to see it, I can manage to keep my expectations low enough to be able to enjoy it. Big shoes to fill after Watchmen.

Oh goodie. First Disney gets big money with Miley Cyrus, then Zac Efron, and now they're going for the tri-fecta with Vanessa Hudgens. Only this time they are ripping off their own movie series. When will it end!?

Hey, folks. The trailer for Vanessa Hudgens' latest film Bandslam is out, and it's a doozy. Already my stomach churned trying to swallow the film. The plot is clearly a rip-off of High School Musical (two kids inspired by music - though I'm happy to report the main character is a shy nerd, so maybe I'm looking too deep into things ), the music is dated and already left me stunned, and there's two white kids at the end freestyling. I damn near threw a marker at the screen.

This one isn't a Disney project, at least not that I can tell...

I did that for Grandma's Boy, and that was just legendary. But then, I actually still like Grandma's Boy sober, too. The first true follow up to Billy Madison and Happy Gilmore. And they didn't even ruin it with Sandler.

In my opinion, putting Sandler in just anything (except maybe a deep trench at the bottom of the sea) would be ruining it...

My idea of The Ultimate Worst Movie: a film starring Adam Sandler, and directed by Michael Bay!

I dunno... if Michael Bay could make Adam Sandler blow up, it might be the BEST movie ever...

Nope. Twilight marketers Summit are distributing it.

Can't wait for Wolverine this weekend. I'm not paying attention to the people who think the film sucks. They're reasons are because it's 20th Century FOX, because Deadpool doesn't get enough screentime (it's called X-Men Origins: Wolverine, so Deadpool isn't in the primary factor), and because of the mutants.

By the way, 20th Century Fox should've won that war they had with WB over Watchmen. 3 hours of my life I'll never get back.

So their films suck (I'm referring to Fox), but shouldn't it be the filmmaker's fault? Andrezj Bartkowiak, the director of Street Fighter: The Legend of Chun Li, directed Doom, which was distributed by Universal. James Wong, the director of Dragonball: Evolution, directed Final Destination 3, distributed by New Line Cinema.
You think you know, but you have no idea.

Yeah, but Fox's track record was one bomb after another last year, with critics and movie-goers alike.

Deadpool will be getting his own spin-off movie, so people shouldn't complain about his lack of screentime. As for "Watchmen," stick to the "Motion Comic" on DVD.

I thought Watchmen was amazing, personally. I got the motion comic and still loved the movie. But from the opinions I've heard, Wolverine is bad because it's corny and has a dumb plot, not because of the the little nuances you've mentioned. I'll still see it, and it could be good, but I'm going in with my sights set at about floor level.

I also loved Watchmen, and have seen it thrice in theaters so far. As far as Wolverine goes, I am going in with the belief that it will be a horrific experience... I figure the lower the expectations, the better.

And even though Deadpool is great, a movie version of him would be hard as hell to pull off...

From what I understand about Deadpool, he likes to break the fourth wall, which is great, but it's just been done in movies a few too many times to get the actual "wow" of originality. Not that it isn't fun from time to time.

Not only does he talk to himself, but he has very vocal arguments with his own internal monologue. The man is hilarious.

You wanna know why Watchmen ain't that good. Here are some opinions from someone who seen it:

* The use of music sans irony

* Too much needless back story was focused over the main plot: the love triangle with Silk Specter, Nite Owl, and Dr. Manhattan; the Comedian's relations with Silk Specter; the Comedian killing a hooker that he knocked up; Silk Specter being connected to the Comedian, with scenes that were repeated TWICE (so we could be tortured with Carla Gugino soaping it up as Silk Specter's mom); and some nonsense centering around Richard Nixon. If Zack Snyder could've handled the story more properly, I would've been able to swallow it.

* An elongated sex scene that would better fit Skinemax (wherever the hell that channel is)

* Rorschach was one of the most interesting characters (much better helped by Jackie Earle Haley's commited performance), but was glossed over to make room for the nonsensical supporting cast, including Malin Akerman (boy, not one negative review glosses over her wooden performance). And his killing off might've been proof that the filmmakers didn't give a damn about his character.

* I haven't read the comic book, so I may have been alienated. Still, at least invite me into the proceedings.

Whatever. I'm out of the loop of people who like this movie. Hell, I don't think it's even in theaters anymore, and it was a big film of its genre.

And as I said before, X-Men Origins: Wolverine is going to be amazing. Maybe not up there with Iron Man or The Incredibe Hulk, but if your film doesn't have needless singing and dancing, glittery emo vampires, an actress sh*tting on a once prosperous career (Kirsten Dunst, I'm looking at you), a desecration of a major comic book character (Venom and Silver Surfer, i.e.), or a painful 3 hour sit, then you have something entertaining in its own right.

And X-Men III, while disappointing, is not as bad as people are making out to be. Hugh Jackman makes lemonade out of lemons, all right?
You think you know, but you have no idea.
